TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VINTAGE VILLE ONLINE PLATFORM FOR SELLER
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY
This document sets out the general terms and conditions of our online auction platform services which we provide to you. These terms and conditions are binding on you therefore it is important that you read and understand this document. Please refer to clause 6 (Meaning of Words) for the definitions of some of the words used in this document.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. THESE TERMS
1.1 The terms and conditions set out herein (“these Terms”) apply every time you access and use of our Services.
1.2 If you do not accept these Terms, please stop accessing and using the Services immediately.
2. REGISTRATION AND ELIGIBILITY
2.1 To register for the Services, you must provide us with true, accurate and complete information and must promptly notify us of any change in the information provided. You will be solely responsible for the consequences of us acting or not acting on any inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, illegible or outdated information that you provide to us.
2.2 We reserve the right to reject any application to register for the Services.
2.3 By clicking on an “I AGREE”, “I CONSENT” or other similarly worded button or entry field, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all these Terms and the Other Terms.
3. SELLER
3.1 We are a middle agent providing a platform for sale of second-hand products and we are acting as escrow for payment of products from Buyer in case there are disputes on the promised conditions of the products. Please ensure that your promised conditions of the products should be honestly declared in order to secure the payment.
We will not be responsible for the delivery of purchased products or returned products.
3.2 Any product or transaction posted on our platform has to be legally approved under Singapore legislation and regulations. If we determine that the content of a product detail page or listing is prohibited, illegal, potentially illegal, or inappropriate, we may remove or alter it without prior notice. Vinvil.com reserves the right to make to decide whether the content is appropriate. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that the products they offer are legal and authorized for sale or re-sale.
(i) No pornography, gambling related products and dangerous/highly flammable products be allowed on our platform.
(ii) Any products that required special licensing eg. Liquor, tabacco or medication related products are not allowed on our platform.
(iii) Recopied media: Media products (books, movies, CDs, television programs, software titles, video games, and so on) that have been recopied, dubbed, duplicated, or transferred without permission of the rights holder are illegal to sell and are not allowed on our platform.
(iv) Advertisements: Listings that are intended wholly or mainly as portals to commercial or private websites for the purposes of advertising, or that offer contact information for non-vinvil.com offers, particularly those with non-vinvil.com ordering tools or information are prohibited.
(v) in the event of above-mentioned cases, we will provide details to Singapore Authority.
3.3 Buyer has the rights to ask for refund within 24 hours of receiving the products if the products received are far from advertised description or promised conditions.
3.4 We do not provide mediation between Seller and Buyer for delivery of products, refund of products and payments.
(i) Seller has to liaise with Buyer directly to reach an agreement for delivery of products.
(ii) Seller has to liaise with Buyer directly to reach an agreement for returning the default products.
(iii) Seller and Buyer have to reach an agreement in order for us to refund the payment to Buyer. In the event, that an agreement cannot be reached by both parties, we will act accordingly to the promised conditions of the Seller's products and the reasons for refund by the Buyer. Vinvil.com will have the final decision on the refund and will not entertain further disagreements between Seller and Buyer. Please note that if any Seller or Buyer has constantly defaulted on products or constantly requested for refunds, Vinvil.com has the rights to blacklist such Seller or Buyer and they will be prohibited to use our services and their accounts with Vinvil.com will be closed without any notice.
3.5 If there is no dispute upon receipt of products by the Buyer within two days ("Dispute Period"), we will transfer the payment to Seller’s designated Paypal account within seven business days after Dispute Period.
3.6 Paypal Charges : All transactions made through Paypal are subjected to Paypal charges.
4 USE OF THE SERVICES
4.1 Security/Confidentiality
a. Username and Password
You must take all precautions to safeguard and keep your Username and Password confidential to prevent fraudulent or unauthorised access to your Accounts and/or use of the Services.
b. Reporting
You must make a report to us as soon as possible when you:
(i) suspect or become aware that your Password is lost, stolen, misused or tampered with;
(ii) suspect that someone else knows your Username and/or Password; or
(iii)suspect or become aware that there has been unauthorised access to or use of your Username, Password.
c. Responsibility for any loss/damage
You agree that we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from loss, theft, unauthorised use, misuse or tampering of your Username or Password or any defect, default, deficiency, malfunction, interference or any consequence arising as a result of your failure to comply with the terms and conditions above.
5. MEANING OF WORDS
Business Day means any day on which we are open for business in Singapore and excludes Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, bank holidays or such other days that we may declare.
Password means any personal identification number, word, phrase, symbol, code or other identification (electronic or otherwise) that is needed for:
(a) access and use of any Account or Service;
(b) identification of the user of the Services.
Services mean the Vintage Ville online platform for advertising and sale of second-hand products services.
VV/we/our/us mean Vintage Ville, as the case may be, and shall include its successors and assigns.
Username means the personal identification name, number, character or combination of any of these which identifies the registered user of the Services.
you/your means the registered user of the Services.
